Robnor Publishing was founded in 2005 by original Tuskegee Airman and 99th Fighter Squadron pilot, Curtis Robinson, and author and publisher, George Norfleet, both members of the East Coast Chapter of Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. Robnor Publishing is based in Washington DC; we partner with local Tuskegee Airmen to write, publish and preserve their stories. The stories told are first-hand accounts of life experiences from original, documented Tuskegee Airmen. They have been written over the course of several years. Our books are informative, enjoyable, personal and authentic.
Our memoirs take you through the lives and times of two Tuskegee Airmen, the late Charles Herbert Flowers, Jr. in his book Training the Best and the late Curtis Christopher Robinson, Sr. in his book A Pilot’s Journey. Robinson and Flowers have unique stories that reveal their character and accomplishments as Tuskegee Airmen and beyond, while providing insights into how they managed the challenges of their era. Their stories capture the reasons that these men and their peers excelled so outstandingly during World War II and throughout their lifetimes.
